Greg Snider, of Gambrills, claimed a $1 million prize after a lucky win on a Cash4Life ticket Friday, June 17, says the Maryland Lottery.

“I’m ecstatic!” the 33-year-old heavy equipment operator said.

“We’ve been saving to do it. This will give it to us now", Greg said, adding, “We want to give our kids a better life".

The lucky winner was sure his family would come into money soon, and that lucky ticket proved him right.

“For the past three weeks, I’ve been having dreams about coming into a lot of money,” he said.

The winner checked his 10 quick pick tickets, revealing the $1 million prize. The Cash4Life tickets have a choice of $1,000 a week for life, or a one-time payment of $1 million.

Even with the extra cash, the happy couple won't change their work ethic. After claiming their prize, Greg's wife Sarah reminded him that she had to get to work.

Sharing in the family’s good fortune is the Wawa store, which will receive a bonus of $2,500 for selling the second-tier winner.
